We take responsibility – especially to protect the risk group. We adhere to all the requirements of the BAG and take additional precautionary measures. Before entering the training workshop, everyone must disinfect their hands and within the workshop we have enough space to keep min. 2 meters apart. In addition, we air the entire workshop generously in every break. In addition, taps, doorknobs, window handles and other materials are very often disinfected. If you want to wash your hands extensively, the sink is at your disposal. We rely on our participants also adhering to the regulations of the BAG. Together we are strong.

Even if the “SKN theory course” is not mandatory anymore, we would like to offer interested persons this valuable, comprehensive course. It does not matter if you are interested in a puppy or a dog from the animal shelter – or if you already have a dog!

News mandatory theory courses
It is very likely that first dog owners soon will have to visit a mandatory courses again, before getting their first dog. More about this you can read here.  Of course, in this case, we will also handout the certificate retroactively. This course is a lot more comprehensive than the course requirement will dictate – and much better preparation for the new family member.

This course is not only exciting for first-time owners – but for all dog-loving people who want to learn more about “dogs needs” and “the life with dog today”. This course can be both: a very good preparation for your first dog or a great update for you as a responsible dog owner.

Topics

Evolution of dogs (Special Topic: puppy development), behaviour of dogs (normal / problematic), how does a dog learn (learning theory), body language / expression behaviour of dogs, important points when purchasing a dog, nutrition, health, code of coduct and animal law in Switzerland etc.
